Tipsy Picks Week 13

By Jonny Danger

Extreme Values. Miracle dependent plays. One-off shots off the beaten path!

You’ll need a few beers or a stiff pour of bourbon to stomach these picks…

I am going to concentrate on just a guy or two for each position.

Tipsy QBs

Mike Glennon $4,800 @ MIN (1.2%)

Absolute bare bottom QB pricing with Colt McCoy (vs Sea) and Branden Allen (vs Mia). Colt McCoy will steal some ownership but I’m going to argue that Glennon’s weapons may be the best of the 3. They have rookie sensation James Robinson that must be accounted for, he gets DJ Chark back with his big play potential and he showed rapport with my boy Tyler Eiffert in the Redzone. The Vikings have given up big numbers to big time receivers and DJ Chark fits that bill. Start your build with Glennon and Chark and you have the freedom to go anywhere you want.

BIG wide outs against the Vikings this year

Devante Adams- 6’1” 215 – 21/209/5 (2 games)

WIll Fuller 6’0” 184 – 6/108/1

DK Metcalf 6’4” 230 – 9/93/2

Julio Jones 6’3” 220 – 8/137/2

Amari Cooper 6’1” 211 – 6/81/0

Robby Anderson 6’3” 190 – 4/94/1

DJ Chark 6’4” 198 – 7/90/2 *Jonny Danger Projections

Under Owned Favorites

Carr, Tannehill

Tipsy RBs

Cam Akers $4,500 @ ARI (0.8%)

I’m going to take a stand and say this is the week Akers finally sees the most snaps between he, Brown, and Henderson. Darrel hasn’t been explosive since his mid-season injury and Brown, though solid, is just a guy. The second round draft pick Akers needs a chance to show what he can do for them and this divisional matchup is the spot. The Cards are giving up 123 yards per game on the ground and if the Rams can get up on this team coming off back to back tough losses it might be time to see what the kid can do. The Rams are #1 in DVOA rushing attack and #6 in adjusted Yard lines, if they consolidate their rushes more to 1 guy… look out.

Other Cost Saving Options:

Booker, Drake

Tipsy WRs

Adam Humphries $3,200 vs CLE (0.1%)

Teams that have had success against CLE through the yard have done so mostly in the Slot, Tyler Boyd, Chase Claypool, TY Hilton, CeeDee Lamb, Andrews, Snead… Humphries was having a solid start to the year before his injuries. In his first 4 games he gathered 21 catches on 26 targets for 200 yards and 2 scores. He’s going to go completely underlooked in DFS builds with studs like Brown and Davis there, but with Smith out at TE Humphries will be a welcome site out of the slot for Ryan Tannehill.

Other Cost Saving Options:

Isaiah Coulter- suddenly the WR2 on the Houston offense

Mike Williams – always under priced, always under owned

Salary Saving TEs

Trey Burton- $3,500 keeps being a red zone go to.

Tyler Eiffert- $2,600 Total punt play but it worked last week!

Defense

If you aren’t just playing Miami go ahead and save some money this week.

NE  $2400

ATL $2400

If you wanna go low owned..

Detroit $2,500 @ CHI Mitch threw 2 INTs and fumbled 3 times last week.  They may win this game, but sacks and turnovers matter more than points allowed.
