I am going to concentrate on just a guy or two for each position.
This is going to get interesting with all the resting, injured, and Covid affected players being out. Value will be found in many places so it’s even more important than ever to get those underlooked plays into those massive GPPs.
Tipsy QBs
Taysom Hill @ CAR $5,800 (0.1%)
I don’t like the price here, let’s be real. There are 17 other QB’s that are cheaper. If you play him you won’t actually have a QB in your lineup, so really, please don’t do this unless you was building 50+ lineups and maybe not unless you do 150. Could you see Hill getting 10+ carries, some goal line work, a few tosses as QB? Sure, he needs at least 2 TD’s to pay off and maybe that won’t even do it, but if he does! You might be on an island all your own.
Josh Allen vs MIA $7,600 (0.8%)
I think it’s a huge mistake to rule out playing Allen this week. If the Steelers win and they lose, the Bills will lose the 2nd seed and place them against the Ravens most likely, which is the team I want to see the least of in the first round over the Browns or Colts or even a Titan’s match up in a couple weird scenarios. Unless the Steelers are getting blown out early the Bills will play hard to win.
Cheap plays that are just fine: Rudulph, Lock, Glennon

Tipsy RBs
Gus Edwards $4,900 @ CIN (0.8%)
Coming back to Edwards yet again. If it looks like there is a blowout happening, the Ravens can rest as they can’t move up, which means Gus could finish the second half as the featured back. The Bengals defensive line is garbage and I like this as an under-owned high leverage spot when everyone is looking Dobbins way.
Wayne Gallman $5,300 vs DAL (0.8%)
Here is a potential GPP winner. With huge attention on Henry, Monty, Taylor and the likes of Mattison, you have a guy in a home game against a subpar defense, with nothing to lose, on a contract year, in an offense that he will not be a part of when Barkley is healthy. Wayne is playing for a starting role that I believe he deserves… but maybe for like, the Jets or Broncos or somewhere next year.
Other RBs
Akers: if he plays in a must win, I am in!
Aaron Jones: Every time it looks like a game that has no chance to be a Jones game… here comes a Jones game.
Tipsy WRs
John Brown $3,600 vs MIA (0.1%)
JB was on my smash list last week but he ended up not playing. Add a week to get healthier still and subtract a Beasley and you have a recipe for a great week for the very undervalued talent of John Brown. Top it all off with being practically unowned in a game with implications on both sides and lock this dude in!
Danny Amendola $3,900 vs MIN (1.3%)
In a meaningless game against a team that has been better against the pass as of late then their reputation, under $4k and under 2% owned means it’s TIPSY TIME! I love this game for scoring while everyone is looking at games with playoff implications. Even those targeting this game are going to fall in with Swift, Jones, Jefferson, Thielen, Mattison. I want those pieces, but I also want the under-owned spot too.
Other Cost Saving Options:
Every Jets WR. In order I like Crowder, Mims, Perriman
Chris Conley as a bare bottom pricing in a heavy passing offense is fine by me.
Josh Reynolds will be highly owned but I love his price!
Salary Saving TEs
Donald Parham- $2,900 no Hunter Henry, no Allen, Herbert trying to secure ROTY.
Jack Doyle- $3,000 Has looked sharp and Burton may be higher owned.
Gerald Everett- $2,700 everyone missing from LAR gives a dump off boost to the TE
My Favorite play of the week: Robert Tonyan ($5k) against the worst team vs the TE… no brainer when he is practically unowned according to projections.
Defense Values
NYJ $2300 – NE has not been good and Bill might play a bunch of random guys to see what they can do. I like this game for more than 1 turnover in favor of the Jets.
SEA $3000 – 49ers got nothing to play for and are missing both top WR.
